TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following Terms & Conditions outline the policies of Tidal Dress Collective. By hiring a garment, the client enters into a legally binding agreement with Tidal Dress Collective and agrees to comply with these terms
Hire Period

The standard hire period is three (3) consecutive days, commencing on the start date selected by the client.

Early delivery or extended hire may be requested, subject to availability. An additional fee of 20% of the hire price per extra day applies.
Booking & Payment

A minimum of five (5) business days’ notice is required for bookings to allow for processing and postage.

A valid residential billing address must be provided. PO Boxes are not accepted. Clients in rural or remote areas must notify Tidal Dress Collective, as additional postage time may be required.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure the hire item.
Condition & Care
-
Hire items may show light signs of general wear. Vintage or delicate fabrics (e.g. silk, satin) are particularly prone to natural imperfections.

Clients must handle garments with care, avoiding environments or activities that may cause stains, pulls, or tears.

Alterations are strictly prohibited. This includes hemming, dyeing, or applying embellishments. Any unauthorised alterations may incur charges up to the full replacement value.

Adhesives such as fashion tape, fabric glue, or double-sided tape are not permitted.

Fake tan may be worn if thoroughly washed off 1–2 days prior. Staining may result in additional cleaning or damage fees.

Clients must avoid contact with makeup, jewellery, perfumes, oils, sprays, and cleaning agents.
Cleaning & Damage

All cleaning is managed by Tidal Dress Collective. Do not wash or dry clean items yourself.

Any damage must be reported immediately. Failure to notify Tidal Dress Collective of pre-existing damage upon receipt may result in liability.

Damage fees will be determined based on the item’s RRP, condition, demand, and hire fee paid. Payment is required within seven (7) days. Failure to pay may result in legal action.

If damage prevents a future booking, the responsible client will also be charged for the full value of the cancelled hire.
Pick-Up Hires
-
Collection address: Shop 11/24 Junction Drive, Coolum QLD 4573.
-
Items must be collected between 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM on the pick-up date.

Returns are due between 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM on the return date.

All packaging (hangers, garment bags, boxes) must be returned. Missing items may incur replacement fees.
Postal Hires
-
Orders are sent via Express Post (Australia Post). Delivery is generally between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Mon–Fri.

Early delivery does not alter the hire period or cost.

Bookings made within 5 business days are at the client’s risk. No refunds or credits will be issued if an item does not arrive on time.

Returns must be lodged over the counter at an Australia Post office by 3:00 PM using the prepaid label provided. Items placed in a street post box will be considered late.

If the return date falls on a weekend, lodgement is due the following Monday morning.

Clients are responsible for safe packaging; transit damage due to inadequate packaging is the client’s liability.
Late Fees
-
A late fee of 30% of the hire fee per day applies for overdue returns, up to the full RRP of the garment.

If a late return cancels a future booking, the responsible client will be liable for the full cost of the cancelled hire plus late fees.
Cancellations, Refunds & Credits
-
All bookings incur a 100% cancellation fee – no refunds will be issued.

Cancellations made 7+ days before hire will receive a store credit.
-
Bookings cancelled less than 7 days before the hire period, or no-shows, will be forfeited.
-
No refunds or credits will be issued once an item has been dispatched.
Postal Delays

Tidal Dress Collective is not responsible for postal delays. No refunds or credits will be provided in these circumstances. Clients are encouraged to book well in advance.
Cancellations by Tidal Dress Collective

Tidal Dress Collective may cancel a booking due to damage, late returns, loss, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Bookings may also be cancelled if the client provides false, incomplete, or misleading information.
Lost or Stolen Items
-
Clients are liable for the full value of any lost or stolen hire item. Fees will be assessed based on RRP, demand, condition, and hire fee paid.
In-Store Try-Ons
-
Try-ons are by appointment only and are non-refundable.
-
Each appointment is for one person unless otherwise approved.
-
Interest in a style does not guarantee availability, as items may be on hire or undergoing cleaning/alterations.

Clients must handle garments with care. Any damage will be charged in line with hire terms.
Privacy Policy
Tidal Dress Collective values your privacy. Personal information is collected solely for booking and order processing and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
Tidal Dress Collective reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
